Macroeconimics-I: Course Outline for Second Semester 2010 batch

Since the students in the current batch did not have an opportunity to study Macroeconomics earlier, the main course will be preceded by a foundation course “Principles of Macroeconomics” by N G Mankiw 3ed. The students are also required to undertake assignments based on some of the current issues in macroeconomics as project work. The course structure for the 2011 Winter semester is as follows.

Stage-1: Foundation in Macroeconomics (2 weeks- Intensive)

Stage-2: Advanced Macroeconomics (10 Weeks-Intensive)
