Assignment-2: Macroeconomics 5 Year Integrated MSc (Why GDP is not a suitable measure of National Progress)

Please find below a few readings on issues we discussed in the class. The assignment is to summarize the readings below in around 500 words (2 pages double spaced typed or 5 pages hand written ). The ground rules are as follows.

Do not copy/paste from these readings.
Whenever you use an idea from these readings, please refer it with the name of the author and the year.
Please remember that these assignments are mandatory.
The deadline for submission of the assignment is 31 August 2011. Submit your assignments to Mr Karan Bisht at the office of the School of Social Sciences. Please note that I will not allow you to appear in the 1st Pre-Final examination unless you submit the assignments.
